1960s

1969  Formation of Falcon Bowmen Club.   

1970s
 
1970  Founding of Archery Association of Malta     
1970  Association becomes affiliated to Federation Internationale de Tir a` l’Arc    
1973  Formation of  Sagittarius Archery Club.    
1979  Competed in Mediterranean Games–Split, Yugoslavia. 

1980s
   
1980  Adoption of new Association Statute providing direct affiliation of individuals to Association.    
1980  Competed in European Archery Championships–Compiegne, France    
1980  Raphael Patiniott becomes Malta’s first International Judge    
1980  Competed in Moscow Olympic Games, USSR.    
1981  Competed in World Archery Championships – Punta Ala, Italy
1982   Competed in Commonwealth Games – Brisbane, Australia    
1984   Competed in Los Angeles Olympic Games, USA    
1986  Competed in European Archery Championships – Keshkemet, Hungary    
1988  Competed in Seoul Olympic Games, South Korea    

1990s

1990  Competed in European Archery Championships-Barcelona, Spain    
1992  Organised the European Outdoor Archery Championships - Malta    
1993  Introduction of Compound Bow Categories in local Competitions.    
1994  John Collins is appointed International Judge by FITA    
1996  Competed in Archery Games of the Small States of Europe - Cyprus    
1998  Competed in  Archery Games of the Small States of Europe- San Marino 

2000s
   
2000  Organised  Archery Games of the Small States of Europe – Malta    
2002   Competed in  Archery Games of the Small States of Europe- Luxembourg    
2002   Dion Buhagiar is appointed International Judge by FITA.
